I am Maddie Burnett Williams, a Utah wedding photographer!
I am a sucker for all things wedding related. I specialize in capturing the fun-loving and authentic couples who are madly in love.
I grew up in Idaho where I first started my photography journey.
During high school, I worked extra hard to save up money for my first camera! My first camera was the best and most fulfilling purchase I have ever made.
It lit a fire in me that I couldn't stop thinking about (and still can't stop thinking about!).
WHY I CHOOSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY:
In 2020 I shadowed a photographer for the very first wedding I photographed. I fell in love with wedding photography that day. I knew that becoming a wedding photographer was the path for me, and I haven't looked back since.
I am passionate about capturing people deeply in love, and creating art that couples rave over. I love photographing memories you and your loved ones can hold onto forever.
There is so much power in photos. It feels so magical being able to freeze a moment in time and turning it into art that lasts forever.
Photos have always held a special place in my heart. I am so thankful everyday that I get to capture people on the most important day of their lives and making those memories feel tangible again.
I am EXTREMELY extroverted. Meeting new people and making new friends is what fills my cup. I am so enthusiastic about being a wedding photographer. It helps me feel a sense of purpose while also fulfilling my creative desire that burns within me. I have a deep passion for love and an insatiable desire to capture people experiencing it.
Recently, I moved and was able to become a full-time wedding photographer in Utah. Going full-time was the most fulfilling choice I have made. I feel a sense of accomplishment and a newer and deeper understanding of others through this journey. I have always had a creative fire burning in me and photography helps me feed that fire.
MY PURPOSE:
There is an extreme importance in getting to know your wedding photographer on a deeper level before your wedding day. We will be spending the most important day of your life together.
My purpose in starting this blog is to show the real and raw parts of my life (and maybe some of the more embarrassing moments of my life too).
I want you to feel like you know me more than just "the girl who takes pretty pictures".

I am a past bride, which means I get to share all of my goodies and pieces of advice I wish I knew when I was planning my own wedding.
Since I have been through it before, and I have captured MANY weddings, I can help you best prepare for your own wedding. Now you won't have to feel so in-the-dark when it comes to planning the biggest and best day of your life!
